‘Your body is your temple, so stay fit and healthy,’ says wrestler Sangram Singh

Fit as a fiddle: International wrestler, actor and motivational guru Sangram Singh, unravels his fitness mantras

International wrestler, actor and motivational guru Sangram Singh is a big name in the international wrestling arena. He participated in the famous reality shows like Bigg Boss 7, 100% - De Dhana Dhan and so on and became a household name. Fitness is a way of life for Sangram and he never gives it a miss. As per Sangram, To lead a healthy and a happy life, one has to follow a good fitness routine.

Sangram Singh who has lost 20 kgs, follows a strict fitness routine and keeps it changing to break the monotony. Speaking about his fitness routine, Sangram said, Everyday, I workout for 4 hours. I wake up around 5:15 am and after consuming fruits, I straight away head to exercise.

He adds, I exercise from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. I feel fresh after my morning workout. I advise people to work out in the morning; this will help you to stay active and energetic!"

Sangram opts for a complete body workout, below mentioned is his exercise routine:

  • Running
  • Sprinting
  • Jumping
  • Summersaults
  • Stretches
  • Yoga
  • Headstands
  • Push ups
  • Pull ups
  • Dips

Sangram who practices wrestling everyday emphasizes on the importance of cooling down after exercising. For 3 days, he does indoor workout and for other three days, he opts for outdoor workout. He prefers outdoor workout instead of gymming. I also play badminton and basket ball, says Sangram.

Sangram believes that if the mind is focused, then, your body will be disciplined. Along with physical fitness, mental and emotional well-being is equally important. So, working out cools my mind and helps me to relax.
