Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray shared a positive update on the party, MP Sanjay Raut, who was away from people's eyes due to health issues. Speaking to reporters, Thackeray told," I visited Sanjay Raut today. His health is now much better than before soon, he will be back on the field, leading with his determination." This update came just before the BMC elections which are going to held in January 2026.
On October 31, he told everybody that he will take a break from public life for two months as his health was deteriorating continuously. He revealed that doctors advised him to take complete rest. Raut, often called the " blazing cannon" of the Sena UBT, shared a note on X explaining his condition and thanking his supporters for encouraging him in such a tough time period.
During his visit, Thackeray expressed relief over Sanjay Raut's improving condition. He told that Sanjay Raut recovery was well underway and that the senior leader would soon resume his political activities. His statement seems that he want to boost the morale of Shiv Sena supporters as the BMC elections are approaching. Here's what Uddhav Thackeray shared about Sanjay Raut's health on Twitter:

Sanjay Raut posted on X from his hospital bed, showing an line while continuing to write for Shiv Sena's mouthpiece saamana. He wrote," the hand must keep writing. Whoever owns the land, the newspaper belongs to the one who writes that has always been our generations mantra." Sanjay Raut has long been a vocal strategist and critic of the ruling alliance. His absence raised concern among party members. For now, his health is improving, and Uddhav Thackeray has also confirmed his return, Sanjay Rawat presence can be really important for Shiv Sena UBT in the upcoming BMC election, especially in mobilising supporters and strengthening campaign strategies.
