She knew right since her childhood that she wanted to be famous. Ex Femina Miss India International and actor, Sonnalli Seygall, has starred in movies like Pyar Ka Punchnama and Wedding Pulav. In an exclusive chat with TheHealthSite, Sonnalli Seygall talks about fitness and how she unwinds at the end of the day (read until the end to find the 'pawfect' way to unwind). Here are excerpts from our conversation.

What is your fitness routine?

I don't like monotony in my fitness schedule. So I don't really have a fixed routine. But yeah, it comprises yoga and any form of workout -- be it core workouts, weight training or functional training. I would choose yoga over workouts any day. It is so rewarding. Also, I prefer traditional yoga over power yoga.

It really depends on my schedule. If I am at a shoot, then I have to work out before the shoot begins. I make sure I am up at least three hours before the call time and workout, because make-up itself will take more than an hour. If I have meetings scheduled in the morning, then I workout after the meeting. So I never miss my workout. Another thing that I never miss in the mornings is having warm water with honey and cinnamon. Here's how honey, lemon and cinnamon in warm water helps you lose weight.

What's your favourite health food?

There are lots, but the recent one that I came across and absolutely loved is raw cacao. It is unprocessed and purest form of chocolate. It is very bitter. It's not available in India, so I have to order it from abroad. I make these raw cacao truffles with peanut, almond butter and a lot of other things. It is very healthy and delicious.

Your favourite cheat food?

Red velvet cupcakes.

How do you detox?

Whenever I get time, I get an oil head massage. I have grown up on it. And I also make sure that I drink lots of water. It's best for your skin and body.

How do you unwind at the end of the day?

I unwind with my two dogs, bounty and candy. They are the love of my life. They make me run around a lot, that I feel is the best exercise ever. I can't wait to get home and be with them.
