What do you expect when you drop your kid at a creche or a day-care centre? Most parents tend to instil a lot of trust in them and choose such centres and caretakers only after least thorough research and background checks. There is obviously the belief that the day care centre will look after you kid and take care of her. Mumbai mom Ruchita Sinha, an HR professional, who dropped her 9-month-old daughter, at a day care centre in Kharghar thought the same. However, she and her husband were in for a nasty shock just a day after keeping their kid at Purva daycare centre. At the end of the day, the parents were shocked to see their kid with bruises and swelling on her face and body. Never would the parents have thought that their decision to keep the kid at a day care centre would land their kid in hospital with severe head injuries. Read about signs that your daycare is not right for your child.
According to reports available online, the parents dropped the child at the creche in the morning and when they went to get her back in the evening, they found that that kid was sleeping but had bruises all over the body. When asked about it, the owner of the day care centre claimed that the kid was playing and got injured by a toy. However, the little one started vomiting at night and was admitted to a hospital. The doctor revealed that the kid was severely assaulted. And when asked for CCTV footage to know what had happened at the day care centre, the day care centre refused. However, after a series of efforts, they got the CCTV footage and saw that the maid had badly beaten up the kid. The footage showed the maid kicking, hitting and assaulting the baby in every possible way. Here real moms share what they look for in a nanny.
Here is the video of the horrendous act of the 30-year-old woman beating the 9-month kid that was caught on a CCTV camera at the day care centre. (PS: The video is too painful to watch!)
