The Simpsons & MAC makeup collaboration to launch at Comic-Con

The cartoon capsule collection from MAC is to be unveiled to the public at the enteratinment convention in San Diego later this month. Earlier this year came the news of a ten-piece line inspired by Marge Simpson to celebrate the cartoon family's 25th birthday. Now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, there's an exciting chance to get your hands on the collection (set to hit the web on August 28 and arrive in stores on September 4) ahead of schedule.

Lucky attendees of San Diego's Comic-Con event will be able to buy the collection for one day only on July 26, at the MAC store in the city's Gaslamp Quarter. Key pieces include nail stickers ($16.50), lip glosses ($16.50) and eye shadows ($44), all packaged in the distinctive Simpsons color palette. As well as a fun treat, we think the line is set to become a real collectable. MAC recently collaborated with Disney on a Maleficent line as well as with pop stars Rihanna and Lorde and fashion brand Proenza Schouler.
