Terence Stamp Death: Terence Stamp, the legendary actor who was best known for his roles in Superman films, died at the age of 87; his family confirmed on Sunday.
Releasing a statement, the family said - "He leaves behind an extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come," the family said. "We ask for privacy at this sad time," the family stated.
The famous British actor, Terence Stamp, a stalwart of Cinmea known for starring as supervillain General Zod in the Superman films, had reportedly suffered an accident on set when a horse fell on top of him.
