Swine flu in Rajasthan: 11 more succumb, death toll reaches 245

Swine flu has claimed around 800 lives across the country out of which 245 deaths have been recorded in Rajasthan alone making it the worst affected state. With 11 more deaths, the state health department needs a hard wake up call to initiate stringent preventive measures and create awareness among the masses. The capital city of Jaipur has reported 50 deaths so far which is the maximum followed by Ajmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Barmer and Kota. Read about 10 facts about swine flu you should know.

With Health Ministry trying hard to prevent & curb the menace of the disease, by issuing guidelines to combat H1N1 outbreak and initiating swine flu help line numbers, the efforts somehow seem to fall short. Swine flu has led to the death of over 850 people across the country while 14,000 people have been affected by the H1N1 virus.
