Swine flu in India: 68-year-old woman dies, total cases now 14 in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, Feb 10: A 68-year-old female patient today died of swine flu at the local Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here. The patient was from Kapurthala, officials said. The toll has now increased to two in the city. (Read: Swine flu in India: 17 succumb to Swine Flu in Indore)

Earlier, a 35-year-old male patient hailing from Jalandhar succumbed to the disease at the Christian Medical College and Hospital here last Saturday. Meanwhile, Punjab's nodal officer Dr Deepak Bhatia said two more cases of swine flu have surfaced here today. He said the total number of swine flu patients diagnosed here till today has reached 14.
