Swine flu in India: 47 cases confirmed, eight deaths in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Jan 30: According to Haryana health officials, Swine flu has claimed at least eight lives in the state. A spokesperson from the health department has said that around 47 cases of Swine flu have been confirmed in the state as of now and the patients are been treated in various hospitals in the isolation wards. Currently, eight people from Faridabad, seven from Gurgaon and five from Hisar districts of Haryana are undergoing treatment for the disease.
