Swine flu in India: 17 succumb to Swine Flu in Indore

Indore, Feb 10: With two more patients succumbing to H1N1 virus at city hospitals here today, the number of deaths in Indore due to swine flu has gone up to 17. Government-run Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College's head of community medicine department, Dr Sanjay Dixit told PTI that two young men died of swine flu at private hospitals today. Both the victims had been admitted to hospitals on January 28 and their test reports were on January 31, confirmed swine flu, he said. So far 41 swine flu cases have been registered in the city, of which 17 persons have lost their lives. (Read: Swine flu in India: Himachal prepared to tackle swine flu)
