The state of Gujarat is one of the states worst affected by swine flu with six more lives lost to the deadly virus taking the total number of deaths to 150 since January, reported an official release. The swine flu menace has reached such heights that curbing it has become a pain in the neck with 107 new cases reported from all across the state yesterday, taking the total number of cases to 1781.However, the state government claims that 692 patients have been cured of the virus till date. A door to door campaign has been initiated all across the state with the help of health workers to find out swine flu affected people as a precautionary measure. Until now four crore people have been scanned by the workers and more than 4000 persons with swine flu symptoms have been given necessary treatment as per the information given by the health department.
