Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative of national sanitation campaign called 'Swachh Bharat' that was launched on October 2, took another leap on Tuesday when Bollywood's Dabaang superstar Salman Khan joined the campaign.
After being nominated by PM Modi, Salman Khan contributed to the nationwide mission by cleaning a part of Karjat in Mumbai on Tuesday. He shared a few pictures of himself along with his team wielding the broom and sweeping the area.
Thanking Modiji for making him a part of the campaign the star tweeted 'I once again thank @narendramodi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me.' He nominated all his fans and social media followers to join the campaign saying 'First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Each one of us can make a difference.' The superstar also nominated Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan along with seven other celebs. Here's the tweet: 'And I nominate Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma, Rajinikanth & Vineet Jain.'
