A 24 year old woman from Ahmedabad in Surat collapsed and died after a heart attack. The incident took place on 17th November at JB Dharuka Mahila Arts College in Kapodra. She was there to deliver a speech on behalf of her IT company. Zeel Thakkar was a web developer and had come to Suraj to attend the event at the institute. The incident took place around 5 PM when she stepped on stage to give a speech and collapsed there. Despite this, she was immediately rushed to the hospital but could not survive.

Initial reports suggest that the cause of death might have been a heart attack. Police in Kapodra areinvestigating the case, and a post-mortem examination has been carried out. Samples have also been collected to determine the exact cause of death. This incident has also raised concerns about the rising number of heart attacks in young professionals.
