Superjudge Remo D'Souza won’t perform for ‘Dance+’ finale. Here’s why

With inspiring dancers and super talented judges, Dance + , a dance reality show is all set for a final event today. Although there is no doubt that the show will end with scintillating performances, if you are the one looking forward for the dance guru Remo D Souza s performance tonight, you will be in for a surprise. No, the super judge is not gearing up for a briallaint performance but will not be performing on the stage. Yes, you heard it right. Before you jump into any conclusion, the reason for this is that the ace choreographer has hurt himself on the on the sets while rehearsing for a solo performance for the finale.

Remo was rehearsing for the solo bit of his performance with dancers Dharmesh and Dharmendra. He was trying to do a flip when he lost balance and fell on his back and was injured. But he returned for the final shoot. It was just a little imbalance but such things happen. The finale is today and the show must go on, Remo said in a statement. Despite the pain, he continued shooting but broke off at 8 a.m. Yet, he returned to the set to complete the shoot at 10 a.m. Dance + also features 'captains' Shakti Mohan, Dharmesh Yelande and Sumeet Nagdev. Here are few tips to the choreographer to recover soon.

To ease the pain and improve the condition, perform RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation) that works best for injuries. Apart from this, here s what can be avoided to prevent further injury

  • Avoid application of eat or warm compresses
  • Stay away from alcohol atleast for a day ot two
  • Don t practice any form of exercise for 2 4 days
  • And lastly, apply an ointment and massaging is a strict no-no
