Sunita Williams Live News Updates: Indian-origin, NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, and Barry 'Butch' Wilmore returned to Earth on Tuesday (March 18, 2025), at 3:27 am IST, hitching a different ride home to close out a saga that began with a bungled test flight more than nine months ago (June 2024). A space mission which was initially planned for 8 days, got extended after their spacecraft detected serious helium leakage - making their return to Earth unsafe. However, after spending 286 days at the International Space Station (ISS), both the stranded astronauts are back!
