Congress president Sonia Gandhi was hospitalized on December 18 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with a lower respiratory tract infection and some breathing difficulties. Gandhi who has a history of asthma is feeling much better now and will recover soon said the chairman of Board of Management at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Dr. Ajay Swaroop. Her medication will continue and she will remain under observation. She has been admitted for lower respiratory tract infection and is recovering said Dr. Swaroop.
