Sonam Kapoor responding well to treatment for swine flu

Over the weekend Sonam Kapoor was diagnosed with swine flu and flown to Mumbai for treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. During her admission, her doctors said that she has been placed in an isolation ward is receiving treatment. (Read: Prevent swine flu with these 10 dos and don ts)

In a statement Sonam Kapoor's spokesperson said, 'Sonam has been detected with swine fly but it is under control. She has been shifted to a hospital in Mumbai and she is showing signs of speedy recovery. Hopefully, she should be back at work soon. According to a recent report the star is said to be recovering well and doctors have recorded an improvement in her health. (Read: Is swine flu curable?)

The actress was shooting for her latest movie, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo when she suffered a bout of high fever for which she was taken to Sterling Hospital, Rajkot. She was then diagnosed with swine flu. Considering the contagious nature of the disease, the entire crew of Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo have been tested for swine flu and fortunately no one was found to be positive for the H1N1 virus, including super star Salman Khan.
