Social activist and renowned anaesthesist Narayan Chandra Bose died at a city nursing home on Sunday due to old age complications his family said. Bose 93 was a widower and is survived by a son and two daughters. A former president of the People's Relief Committee (PRC) Bose was close to the Leftists especially the Communist Party of India-Marxist.
