Remember waking up early on Sunday mornings to watch the Jungle Book on TV at 9.00 am and hunting for video cassettes to watch the movie? Well, here's a good news. The 1967 animated movie is now being remade by Disney, and it is a live action remake which means you will see Baloo and Bagheera as real animals and Mowgli as a real kid and not just cartoon characters.

Disney just released the full trailer of the movie and its looks amazing. The movie will be released on April 15 in 3D which makes watching it mandatory. The movie is highly anticipated because it is made by the studio that created Pirates of The Caribbean and directed by Jon Favreau, the same man who directed Iron Man. The trailer makes you actually want to jump into the frame and live in that jungle. While we could only imagine living like Mowgli as children and had to be satisfied with the 2D animated version, children today will get to live the whole phenomenon called The Jungle Book.

The side effects 3D movies have taken entertainment to a whole another level, however, a study says that watching movies or television in 3D has a few side effects on the viewers. A study published in the journal PLoS One [1] says that watching 3D movies can make people nauseous, can affect the movement of eye and cause eye strain. It has also been linked to disorientation, dizziness, and vertigo. The study also says that 3D viewing puts a strain on the visual system and a few susceptible individuals may also develop a '3D vision syndrome'. However, the study also says that most of these symptoms manifest while watching the movie and start subsiding after removing the 3D glasses.

Irrespective of these few side effects, I think no one should miss watching Bagheera running at light's speed and Mowgli jumping from one branch to another in 3D.

Haven't seen the trailer yet, watch it here--
