Shubman Gill Health Updates: Newly appointed Test Cricket team captain and T20I vice-captain Shubman Gill, who had to withdraw from the Duleep Trophy due to a health emergency, has a big update regarding his current health status. According to the reports, Gill's condition is improving, and doctors have stated that he will be fit and ready to join the team soon, resuming training.
The report further states that although Gill's health is improving, he will still have to undergo medical tests later this week at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (COE) to understand his fitness status.
"His blood reports have not shown any major issues, and after recovering from the viral flu, he is expected to return to full practice soon," sources told the media.
With Gill missing the first match of the Duleep Trophy, Haryana's Ankit Kumar will lead the North Zone in his absence. At present, Gill is in Mohali.
