Shilpa Shetty is always in the news for her fitness and beauty. She is one actress who hardly shows any signs of ageing. She swears by yoga and has a set of fitness DVD's that will motivate you to stay fit. Recently, she was also spotted eating home-cooked food at the airport too.
And now, she's all set to write a book on health and nutrition that will emphasize the importance of Indian food and a healthy diet. .
'I'm penning a book on health and nutrition. I really have been passionate about making people aware of nutrition because that s a major part of good health,' Shilpa said at an event here. Read: Get toned hips and thighs with Shilpa Shetty
'So, if you are working out without proper diet, it's all futile. You've got to know the right time to eat, what to eat and how to eat. People have forgotten how amazing Indian food is,' added the mother of three-year-old boy Viaan Raj Kundra.
The 40-year-old actress was a part of the International Yoga Day celebrations and also took a stand when yoga was linked to religion and was politicised.
She said, 'Yoga has changed my life. I have never planned my life. I just go with the flow. My relation with yoga is on a whole different level. It's very spiritual. If you want to change your lifestyle with yoga, then it should be kept away from politics'.
