On Sunday, the World Health Organisation (WHO) announced that they had identified a rare and deadly virus in a 49-year-old man which belongs to the same family as the SARS virus. It issued a statement saying that it had confirmed the presence of a new coronavirus in a Qatari man. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which include common cold and SARS.
