Salman Khan was found guilty in 2002 hit and run case on Wednesday and was sentenced to jail for a term of five years. He was charged of culpable homicide after killing one person and injuring four by ramming his SUV into a bakery in suburban Bandra 13 years ago. Following the verdict he had applied for an interim bail that was granted to him and today his regular bail application is being heard in the Bombay High Court.

Meanwhile, protesters had gathered outside the court and were demanding that he should not be granted a bail. Many fans had also gathered to show their support to the Bollywood star. However during the chaos outside the court there were reports that a fan tried to commit suicide outside the court. by consuming poison.
