According to a study published in the journal PLOS ONE most physicians would choose a do-not-resuscitate or ‘no code’ status for themselves when they are terminally ill. Unlike what they actually practice - pursuing aggressive life-prolonging treatment for terminally-ill patients - most physicians would like to forgo it for themselves. The study was conducted by the Stanford University School of Medicine where V.J.
