  1. It will help reduce the number of accidents due to the selfies: Probably the most obvious reasons, strict no-selfie zones will help people take precautions and will keep them away from dangerous areas. You might want to know about the places you should not take selfies at.
  2. It will help reduce selfie obsession in general: In the craze of clicking selfies at every possible place, people are failing to realise that this obsession has gone too far, to an extent that it is taking lives. Studies have proven that obsession with selfies is real and is taking a toll on lives.
  3. It will help people get closer to nature: In the madness of capturing every beautiful place we go on our gadgets, we have lost the urge to actually let the beauty of mother nature sink in within us. Studies have shown how even small moment spent around nature can lead to improved mental health and is a great therapy.
  4. It will help reduce the feeling of need for validation: People click selfies to mostly upload on social media. Some do it just for fun while some unknowingly develop an urge of seeking validation. Reduced need for validation will only provide mental peace and well being and induce self-love.
  5. It will help set a good example in front of the kids: Whatever we do now is being carefully watched by the kids around us and we really need to keep this little thing in mind. Let’s set some better examples instead of showing them how we are obsessed with taking selfies.
