Ratan Tata Death News: Business tycoon, Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons died on Wednesday at a Mumbai hospital. According to the reports, the veteran industrialist was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday following a sudden drop in blood pressure.
Remembering Mr Tata's contribution to philanthropy, Mr Chandrasekharan, the current chairman of Tata Sons, issued a statement saying: "It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr. Ratan Naval Tata, a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group but also the very fabric of our nation," said N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons."
He further wrote: "For the Tata Group, Mr. Tata was more than a chairperson. To me, he was a mentor, guide and friend. He was inspired by example. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation, the Tata Group under his stewardship expanded its global footprint while always remaining true to its moral compass."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a heartwarming message with a picture of him sharing the frame with Ratan Tata. He wrote: "Shri Ratan Tata Ji was a visionary business leader, a compassionate soul and an extraordinary human being. He provided stable leadership to one of India's oldest and most prestigious business houses. At the same time, his contribution went far beyond the boardroom. He endeared himself to several people thanks to his humility, kindness and an unwavering commitment to making our society better."

Mukesh Ambani also expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Ratan Tata, calling it a "very sad day for India and India Inc." Ambani emphasised that Tata's death is not only a significant loss for the Tata Group but for every Indian citizen.
In his statement he further noted that with Tata's demise, India has lost one of its most illustrious and kind-hearted sons. "Mr. Tata took India to the world and brought the best of the world to Bharat," Ambani stated, recognising Tata's pivotal role in transforming the Tata Group into a global enterprise, expanding it more than 70 times since he assumed the role of Chairman in 1991.
Having led the conglomerate for over two decades, Tata has been receiving intensive care at a hospital in Mumbai since Monday. Just a day prior to his passing, Tata took to social media to squash the rumours about his health, clarifying that he was undergoing routine medical evaluations due to his age.
Tata's death has left a deep void in India, with an outpouring of grief pouring in from all corners, including Bollywood. Many celebrities have shared heartfelt tributes to the legendary figure, recalling his leadership, values, and contributions that shaped the country.
Ajay Devgn took to social media to mourn the loss of a visionary, saying, "The world mourns the loss of a visionary. Ratan Tata's legacy will forever inspire generations. His contributions to India and beyond are immeasurable. We are deeply grateful. Rest in peace, Sir."
