As per reports, the Duke of Kent has been notified about Camilla's choice and has also conveyed his best wishes and speedy recovery to The Queen. Paying a heartfelt tribute to the Duchess of Kent, Prince William and Princess Catherine also took to the Royal Kensington Palace official social media account to share, "Our thoughts today are with The Duke of Kent and his family, particularly George, Helen and Nicholas. Following the death of the Duchess of Kent, Buckingham Palace released a statement on September 5. It read, "It is with deep sorrow that Buckingham Palace announces the death of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent. Her Royal Highness passed away peacefully last night at Kensington Palace, surrounded by her family."
