Priya Marathe Death News: Priya Marathe, the famous actress who was seen in the daily soap 'Pavitra Rishta', alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, breathed her last on Sunday (August 31, 2025) after battling aggressive cancer.

According to the sources, the 38-year-old had been suffering from the fatal health condition for the past two years. Speaking to the media, close family members said, "She died at her residence in Mira Road at 4:00 AM".

Speaking to TheHealthSite.com, Dr Naveen Choudhury, Oncologist, said, "Cancer can sometimes come back even after a patient has recovered. This is called a 'cancer recurrence'. Some of the main reasons behind this are hidden cancer cells. Hidden cancer cells are those which sometimes go missing from the CT scans; however, they can grow into fatal cancer aftera few months, or years."
