In an effort to integrate Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy and Modern Medicine, the 21st INCOFYRA (International Conference on Frontiers in Yoga Research and its Applications) aims to bring prominent researchers and doctors from all these fields on one platform. The international conference is organised by Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana in Bengaluru and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The conference will focus on important non-communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, psychiatric diseases and oncological problems.
The theme of the conference is Integrating Best of East with Best of West in Medical Practices. The conference aims to address the urgent need for collaborative actions involving health professionals from conventional and traditional medicine, policy makers, government organisations and industries to make the best healthcare available to the public. The conference will be held from 3rd January 2016 to 7th January 2016 at Prashanti Kutiram, Bengaluru.
