Veteran actor Prem Chopra, has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. He is 90. The actor's son-in-law, Vikas Bhalla, informed that he was admitted as a precaution owing to his age. He has told the actor's fans that Prem will be discharged within a few days.

He said, "It's all age-related, and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about." He further revealed that Prem will be discharged in a few days and is doing good, telling fans not to worry about his health.
According to media reports, Prem Chopra has been admitted due to a heart-related problem and a viral illness. Doctor Jalil Parker said in a statement, "Prem Chopra ji was admitted to Lilavati Hospital two days ago under his family doctor and a cardiologist, Dr Nitin Gokhale. He is a known case of cardiac ailment and he also had a viral infection, and that's why I'm treating him for the lungs. "
He further added, "He is not in the ICU, he is in the rooms, in the wards, and he is not critical. He has age-related issues, and that is why it takes time for an elderly gentleman to recover He should be discharged in another 2-3 days. He is stable." Further information on the renowned actor's health is awaited.
Meanwhile, actor Sharman Joshi, who is married to the senior actor's daughter Prerana Chopra, stated, "All good, thank you, just some tests, back tomorrow."
