Pregnant Kristen Bell craves for Kettle chips

Kristen Bell recently revealed that she finds Kettle chips more delicious when she's pregnant. The 34-year-old actress, who gushed about her latest pregnancy cravings said that anything that can be digested, she'll want to eat it, Us magazine reported. Although she eats healthy in her normal life but she gives into her cravings more often when she's pregnant because according to her 'if she won't do it now, when will she do it,' she further added. 'The Lifeguard' star also mentioned that she has been more active during her second pregnancy because this time she also chases around a toddler. Bell and the 'Parenthood' star, have done 'zero prep' for this pregnancy and are 'very excited,' but perhaps, not as much as Lincoln. (Read: 7 weird cravings during pregnancy)

Here are some tips to control pregnancy cravings:

  • Never postpone a meal for too long. Hunger triggers craving and often leads to overeating.
  • Take enough liquids throughout the day to keep yourself hydrated.
  • Eat at least six small meals throughout the day. Eating every two hours will keep your metabolism up and help you cut down on your cravings.
  • Snack on fruits and nuts in between meals to control hunger pangs.
  • Opt for natural sugars (fruits, dates, apricots) over chocolates and ice creams if you wish to have them.
  • Maintain a diet diary to keep track of your cravings and the foods you eat.
  • Pregnancy cravings usually occur due to a deficiency in diet. So make sure you eat foods from all the food groups to incorporate carbs, proteins, fats and other micro and macro nutrients in your diet.
