When CBSE class 10 results were declared, Tusshar Rishi scored a 10 CGPA- a perfect score. He's not the only one. However, he's the only one who battled bone cancer for almost a year before his exams. Tusshar Rishi from Ranchi was under medical care for his condition for 11 months before his exam and underwent treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Her returned to his hometown, Ranchi in January after which he only had two months to study for his boards.
With support from school authorities and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)which allowed to him appear for his exams, Tusshar achieved this remarkable feat. His school principal was more than proud of Tusshar and said that he is the one of the brightest students.
Currently, Tusshar is healthy and living a normal life but has to be vigilant about his health as there are chances that his cancer might relapse. He also has to visit AIIMS every three months for his treatment. His mother said that people should realise that cancer is curable and young people like Tusshar fight it and emerge victoriously.
