Thousands of people are giving up on eating all animal food products for at least one month. Over 200,000 people have signed up for this campaign called Veganuary. The campaign aims to reduce the suffering of animals by urging people to give up eating animal products like fish, meat, milk and other dairy products. The campaign also extends its support to vegans across the world.
Veganuary is an international initiative with thousand taking part in the US and Britain. According to a report in the Telegraph.co.uk, Jane Land the founder of Veganuary said that it's not just about a healthy lifestyle, going vegan also reduces animal cruelty and is beneficial to the environment. She had further said that more than 75% people who had tried going vegan for a month had improved health; they could sleep better and has also lost a significant amount of weight as a result of their changed diet.

Going on a vegan diet has a significant impact on your health. Shunning all animal products mean your diet will include vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes.
