For all those who dislike exercising but still want to reduce weight, now have an easy way out. How was the study conducted?

The study conducted on rats identified a mechanism which senses the brain s requirement of glucose, and prompts the animal to seek more glucose if the brain is short of it. ( Read: Weight loss pills, medicines or supplements do they work?)

Our brains rely heavily on glucose for energy. It's clearly a very important nutrient, but in our evolutionary past it would have been hard to come by.
