Well, if you have clicked this news after reading the headline and are as excited as we were after learning this, let me tell you, there is hope (in abundance) that an end to these deadly diseases is near.
The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that North Korea has developed a drug that can supposedly cure Mers, Ebola, Sars and Aids.
About the magic cure
According to the website kumdang2.com scientists developed Kumdang-2 from ginseng with micro quantities of gold and silver to treat these deadly viral diseases. This special ginseng was grown from fertiliser mixed with rare-earth elements alongside traces of gold and silver.
Kumdang-2 injection is thought to be a strong immune reviver and hence can fight the malicious virus infections like Sars, Ebola and Mers diseases that are related to immune systems. However, we aren t sure of these claims as the state has not come up with any concrete scientific proof.
There has not been an Ebola scare at North Korea as it was in some parts of the world, earlier this year. Still the state had shut out foreign tourists for six months with some of the world s strictest Ebola controls before lifting the restrictions earlier this year. But there are reports that this state had been struggling to combat diseases such as tuberculosis, and respiratory infections that are among its most common causes of death, according to the World Health Organisation.
Their claim comes in just as the rival South Korea experiencesa MERS outbreak that claimed two dozen lives and the numbers have reached to 169. There is no vaccination for MERS yet, just like Ebola and SARS. (Read: MERS on rise: Numbers reach 169 in South Korea)
