Are you tempted to grab a bite on your way to work or on your way back, off the streets? Is this a habit you can't seem to ditch? It's time you start small, now! Needless to say, resorting to junk too often only means you have no control over the oil and fat content in the food, making you prone to weight gain and other health issues like food poisoning, irritable bowl syndrome, could fluctuate your blood-sugar levels and hinder digestion. Here are some more ill-effects of junk food.
It's wise to reduce the number of times you eat out. You can curb the temptation by stocking up some fruits, nuts, to handle your hunger pangs better. Eat every two hours so you don't give in to craving or even over eating. Even if you want to eat out, pre-plan it as much as possible and stick to it. It's ideal that there is some healthy food on your menu when you are out. You could plan a 'bring your own home-food' time with your friends and family once in a while. It could even be a picnic. This way you will try different dishes and keep your health in check too. Just let them know or keep a note of certain ingredients you are allergic to in order to prevent any unwanted health scares. Here is how you can order some healthy Italian food.
