Dengue is a viral infection that is transmitted to humans by the bite of a female Aedes aegypti mosquito bite. A survey conducted among 347 households of South-West Delhi gives a thorough insight into the major factors leading to increased dengue fever cases in Delhi. The team, with due approval from the Indian Council of Medical Research and Research committee of IP University, New Delhi, led interviews with head of the families of 347 households on various relevant questions. The outcomes revealed not only the major hotspots of dengue cases but their mild and severe symptoms. The answers revealed the major predictors of Dengue in Delhi.
