Legendary actor Neil Patrick Harris, who plays the popular character of Barney Stinson on Comedy series How I Met Your Mother, apparently is not interested in knowing out which of his twin children is his biological offspring. (Read: Barney Stinson s enjoying being a daddy!)
Harris and his better half David Burtka opted surrogacy in October 2010 and had twins Gideon and Harper but they don't care which of them has genetic links with which one of their children.
The 41-year-old actor revealed he was gay in 2006 and admitted it to his parents who were initially worried his sexuality 'meant bad things'. During an appearance on 'Barbara's 10 Most Fascinating People Of 2014', he told host Barbara Walters: 'We inserted one of my sperm and one of David's sperm into two eggs with the hope that they would both take, just because we both wanted to be dads biologically. And both took, miraculously.
'I have no interest in (finding out). We are their parents and I love them both implicitly.' However, Harris admitted he has 'suspicions' as to which of the twins is biologically his and which is Burtka's. 'We certainly have suspicions just based on their behaviour,' he said.
