The PM then said that Darkness, Destruction and Devastation are the three D's of drugs, if we stop buying and using drugs, we can beat the daemon. He then added that the letters people send to him addressing their problems were an inspiration to him and that he would fight tirelessly to beat the drug daemon.

He further added that parents should keep an eye out for the changes in their children as the formation of a habit takes some time and if they catch the changes soon enough, they can stop it from becoming a full blown addiction. While the PM did say that we cannot blame the youth for falling prey to drug addiction, he added that youngsters must realise what they are doing and stop before it is too late.

He further urged them to be courage and say no to drugs. He also urged celebrities to back the fight against drugs with their star power. In the end he suggested we start a movement of #DrugFreeIndia on social media and become a means of 'Lok Shiksha'.
