Nagpur Swine Flu (H1N1) update: A couple test positive for the virus

Two more people from Nagpur tested positive for swine flu. This takes the total number of swine flu cases in the city to five. The husband s report from the National Institute of Virology indicates that he has swine flu while the wife s reports are still not out but a private lab declared her positive.

Protocol demands her reports need to be confirmed by NIV. The woman was admitted to a private hospital after she suffered from fever and body ache. Officials indicate they may have contracted the virus from a relative who was H1N1 positive. Both patients are stable and their condition is rapidly improving according to docs attending to them.
