28th March: The number of swine flu cases in the city went up to 6 on Wednesday after a 27-year-old man from Sion tested positive for the virus. The man had travelled to Pune recently and he could’ve contracted the virus from there. According to the BMC's executive health officer Dr Anil Bandivadekar, the patient had been put on a course of Tamiflu, but had already recovered. He had a fever and cold when he visited Sion hospital last week. The doctors sent his samples to Kasturba Hospital's testing facility, said Bandivadekar, Authorities maintained that there was no need for panic.
