Michelle Trachtenberg Death: 'Gossip Girl' And Euro Trip Actor Passes Away At Age 39
Famous Hollywood actor Michelle Trachtenberg, known for her roles in the TV show Gossip Girl, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, movie Euro Trip passed away tragically at 39. According to news reports, she was found unconscious and unresponsive in a New York City apartment near Columbus Circle on February 26. Reports also state that she had recently undergone a liver transplant. The cause of death is still unknown but reports state that the police sources are not treating her death a suspicious.
Acco0rding to a statement issued by the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call just after 8 a.m. and Trachtenberg was pronounced dead by emergency medical workers, who also responded to the scene.
Trachtenberg rose to fame as Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl and Dawn Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She began her acting career in commercials before landing roles in Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete & Pete and ABC's All My Children.
Michelle's publicist Gary Mantoosh issued a statement to the press saying, "It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. "The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time."
