Update: Schumi's back: Michael Schumacher out of coma!

Michael Schumacher is slowly being brought out of an induced coma following last month's skiing accident according to his manager. The seven-time Formula One champion has been in a hospital with severe injuries since his accident on December 29. A statement read: 'Michael's sedation is being reduced in order to allow the start of the waking-up process, which may take a long time.'

Meanwhile investigators probing the reasons for his crash have ruled out faulty skis, inadequate signage and excessive speed. Earlier, it was reported that he was undergoing muscle training to avoid his body seizing up in coma. There was also some fear amongst docs that Schumi could be left in a permanent vegetative state when he wakes up.
