The union cabinet on Thursday approved setting up of Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFILMS) along with a 500-bed general hospital a 300-bed super-specialty hospital a nursing college and a paramedics school at the cost of Rs.1366 crore said a statement. The institute to come up at Delhi will facilitate attraction of talented professionals in the central armed police forces and their retention besides providing in-house training/ specialization/post-graduate/super-specialty post graduate courses to in-service health care professionals.
