Recently in a major move, women across borders gathered the courage to open up about their stories of sexual harassment with the #MeToo. And here you have ridiculous cases of sexual harassment with the women around the world every minute probably even while we are right now talking about it. Furthermore, it enraging to see a few men take pride in sexually harassing women and taking it to social media to show off. Yes! I am talking about the man which goes by the Instagram handle v9nair, who has this disgusting fetish with women's backs and all he has done in life, his name to fame, is creating videos of himself touching women's backs in public and those innocent women have no idea about this pathetic act. This creepy man received a lot of hate from all across the country and for all right reasons. And all thanks to the uproar and people reporting him, the id is brought down by Instagram. But how much does putting down an account help? These creeps are doing things that we can't even think of, one can only shut his Instagram account what about his mentality which has been fed misogynistic perception right from his childhood for all you know?
What is even more devasting is that this pea-brained man had almost 1700 followers. So many followers to an account dedicated to shamelessly harassing women in public. And a few have even been seen appreciating the man in the comments section. What kind of a Diwali should I celebrate, when the women of my country are being harassed shamelessly?
