Mumbai (IANS) Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, who underwent a successful gall bladder surger, was discharged from the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, said a hospital official.
'He was discharged today,' Ram Narain, executive director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, told IANS.
The 76-year-old actor complained of pain and was admitted to the hospital on July 17. He underwent an hour-long surgery on July 24, which also happened to be his birthday.
Manoj Kumar has starred in successful films like Hariyali Aur Raasta, Woh Kaun Thi? and Do Badan. He worked actively as an actor and filmmaker for about 30 years and also earned the title of 'Bharat Kumar' for directing patriotic films like Purab Aur Paschim and Upkar.
