82-year-old Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy was hospitalized due to severe chest pain. The actor was suffering from COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder) and blamed his smoking habit for it. Nimoy had quit smoking 30 years ago, but still blamed the habit for his disease.
Nimoy is best known for his role as Spock in Star Trek, and is also a poet, director and a singer. His story serves as a warning for today's youth to stay away from smoking.
What is COPD?
