Hollywood stars are experimenting with their hair colours these days. Here are 3 actresses who changed or would like to change their hair colour.
Singer-turned-fashion designer Jessica Simpson recently brightened her blonde locks. Her hair colourist Rita Hazan says the change in colour was required to complement her new hairdo, which is a few inches shorter than her usual length.
'Now that she cut her hair, she needed a cool and edgy colour,' Hazan was quoted by usmagazine.com as saying. 'I made it a cool champagne blonde - very light, almost white, but with depth and dimension,' she added. (Read: How to choose the right hair colour)
On the other hand, Katie Holmes, known for her signature brunette locks, says she always wanted to sport red hair. The 35-year-old told eonline.com: 'I've kind of always wanted to be a redhead. I just want to know what that feels like. Don't worry, I'm not going to do it anytime soon.' Holmes also shared that her favourite hairstyle is a 'ponytail'. 'It's easy, looks good. Simple,' she said.
Actress Emma Roberts has successfully rocked both light and dark hair hues, and it has nothing to do with the contents inside a hair colour bottle. 'When I switch hair colours, I have to change my whole make-up and wardrobe because it sometimes doesn't work,' said Emma, who's currently sporting blonde locks. 'When I have blonde hair, I can just do mascara, bronzer, and some concealer. When you have dark hair, I have to wear more make-up because I'm so pale,' she was quoted by usmagazine.com as saying. Emma added a chestnut colour to her short bob in June 2014, and during that time she allowed herself to have more fun in the beauty department. 'When I have dark hair, I'd definitely do a red lip and keep a pale complexion, but when I'm blonde I always want to look more tan,' said the 23-year-old. Not just actresses, Justin Beiber too has changed his hair colour and has gone all blonde now. He earlier had dark hair and perhaps a few blonde streaks but now, he too has gone global with his hair colour. The singer posted a picture of his new style on his Instagram account too.
