Kim Kardashian West has over 42 million followers on Instagram which means everything she says is heard by a lot of people. Having a platform like this can influence a lot of people precisely what got Miss K in some trouble with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Kim is pregnant with her second child and has had a bout of severe morning sickness. She Instagrammed a photo of the drug, Diclegis, that helped her feel better. She also claimed that studies have shown that the drug poses no risk to the baby urging people to try it too. The FDA issued a warning letter against the drug makers, Duchesnay Inc., claiming that the post did not give information about the drug s risks. The company has been instructed to immediately cease misbranding forcing Kim to take down her post.
