Jennifer Aniston eases up her fitness regime

Actress Jennifer Aniston, who admits she's 'eased up' her workout regime, says it's important to take time off from working hard in the gym to simply enjoy life sometimes.

The 45-year-old, who sticks to a combination of running, yoga and climbing to maintain her A-list figure, insists she has slackened her routine over the last two years and is constantly changing the ways she keeps fit, reports bangshowbiz.com. ‘Honestly, there’s always something which is consistent which is either running or yoga, but I love to do spinning, yoga, elliptical. I like to change it up. I go to the gym, do strength training started on this darn climber thing, which is a pain, literally a pain in the a**,’she said.

‘Change it up. But also take some time off and don’t do anything and enjoy your life. I’ve eased up for sure in the last couple of years,’ she added.

Jennifer Aniston’s diet and fitness secrets

The actress is known to keep her diet and fitness in check and with great perseverance. She believes in the ‘5:2 Diet,’ which means she eats normally for five days and ‘fasts’ for two, cutting down on calorie intake to just a quarter of the usual daily amount.

Also, Jennifer looks forward to an increased amount of cardio exercises in her yoga. She ensures that she is consistent at this, for the desired results.

Be it with her diet or her regular workout, Jennifer keeps a positive attitude that translates for a healthy lifestyle and eating habits. Jennifer’s long time yoga teacher Mandy Ingber told Shape ‘Part of why Jennifer looks so awesome is her balance. She’s a balance of having strength, being toned, and being lean beautiful but natural.’
